Former public defender was champion of, mentor to, many
Longtime and beloved Orange County Superior Court Judge, Margaret R. Anderson died June 16 in Newport Beach, California, after a back injury suffered two days earlier.
Judge Anderson’s judicial career spanned three-and-a-half decades, and even after her official retirement in 2011, she regularly sat as an assigned judge until last year. She was 89.
