Human Resource professional group agrees to changes for hearing impaired

The complaint, filed by Disability Rights Advocates in Oakland, accused the Society for Human Resource Management of denying hearing impaired people equal access to the certifications, educational services, and other benefits it offers to its members and customers without hearing limitations.

Three human resources professionals who claimed they were denied training their colleagues received because they are hearing impaired settle a lawsuit with a HR professional association.
