Does Bruen doom California’s attempt to regulate firearms?
While already passed laws are further called into question, Gov. Gavin Newsom signed two new laws last week prohibiting the marketing of firearms to minors and further restricting ghost guns.
California Attorney General Rob Bonta has vowed to defend the state’s gun restrictions, including its voter-approved ban on large capacity ammunition magazines, even in light of a U.S. Supreme Court decision on June 23 that favors gun owners.
