Sales personnel say Apple must pay overtime and travel time
“This is a cut-and-dried failure to pay lawful and adequate compensation. Apple solutions consultants were required to work 40-plus hour work weeks, as well as to travel as part of that work, without the compensation specifically provided for by employee protection laws,” said plaintiffs attorney Daniel M. Hutchinson.

Apple Inc. sales people sued the company for allegedly unlawfully denying overtime compensation, failing to include all forms of compensation in calculating overtime pay and not paying for compensable travel time. The collective action complaint accuses Apple of violating the Fair Labor Standards Act for at least the past three years and seeks to recover unpaid overtime compensation, liquidated damages, statutory penalties and other damages.
