Case that tested limits of False Claims Act settles

Aerojet RocketDyne Holdings was accused by one of its former cybersecurity directors of misinterpreting its compliance with certain regulations.

A federal judge approved a $9 million settlement to resolve claims that Aerojet RocketDyne Holdings Inc., a manufacturer of rocket, hypersonic and electric propulsive systems, fraudulently procured government defense and aerospace contracts by misinterpreting its compliance status with certain cybersecurity regulations.
