PAGA ruling needs more clarity, plaintiffs tell Supreme Court

The motion, filed Wednesday, is the latest in a flurry of developments since the June 15 ruling in which the state PAGA law survived but was superseded in part by the Federal Arbitration Act.

Plaintiffs’ attorneys have asked the U.S. Supreme Court to reconsider its ruling in a case that overturned part of California’s Private Attorney Generals Act but left the status of cases uncertain once they are remanded to state court.
