Parents sue fertility clinic after they ordered a boy and got a girl

“Because [my clients] are still going to have two boys as originally planned, they are seeking only their economic damages for raising a third child that they were not planning to have and that they will have only because of the clinic mistake,” explained Adam B. Wolf of Peiffer Wolf Carr Kane Conway & Wise.

A same sex married couple sued a Pasadena fertility clinic for transferring the wrong embryo that resulted in the birth of a baby girl instead of a boy, as they originally planned for — via a surrogate in 2019.

As a result of the gender swap, Albert and Anthony Saniger are seeking remuneration from Huntington Reproductive Center Medical Group, as the couple still intends on having two in vitro boys in the future.
