Charging station company hires 2 in house counsel
They are part of an ongoing changes in Volta’s leadership following former chief executive officer Scott Mercer and former president Chistopher Wendel’s resignations, after incorrect earnings statements caused the stock to drop.




Facing lawsuits over incorrect earnings statements, the electronic vehicle charging station company Volta Inc. said Tuesday it had hired two new in house counsel with expertise in the issues the company is facing.
Michelle Kley from Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc. and William J. Cooper from Sidley Austin LLP will serve as Volta’s chief legal officer and deputy general counsel, respectively. They declined to comment and Volta’s press team did...
