Walmart settles with warehouses over faulty disinfectant

The plaintiffs said Walmart abandon the product it bought during the pandemic after learning it wasn’t approved by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Walmart Inc. agreed to settle a lawsuit with warehouse companies that accused it of abandoning millions of units of a disinfectant it bought during the pandemic that’s illegal to sell and difficult to dispose of.

The plaintiffs sought $30 million.
