Kabateck asks judge for $4.8M for water bill litigation
The law firm reduced the fees after the judge said its rates were too high.
The attorney brought in to represent plaintiffs in the litigation mired in scandal that ensnared several officials in the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office has asked a judge to grant him $4.8 million in fees and costs, down from the $5.3 million he originally sought.
