Riverside court clerks accused of copying sealed search warrant
The pair were working at the clerk’s office at the Larson Justice Center in Indio when a law enforcement officer asked the court to seal a search warrant request because it contained confidential information being used in an ongoing investigation.




Two former Riverside County court clerks have been indicted by a grand jury for allegedly conspiring to violate a court order by copying a search warrant that was under seal.
The two former clerks, Angela Franz and Michelle Valdez, both of Thousand Palms, were indicted and arrested April 14 after they were caught copying the documents, according to a news release from District Attorney Mike Hestrin.
