Blind man receives $300K settlement from LAPD

“There is video of what happened in the hospital and one of the things that’s most outrageous is that Moore was strapped and helpless,” said Brian D. Olney of Hadsell Stormer Renick & Dai.

A blind Black man was awarded $300,000 in a settlement with the Los Angeles Police Department after he filed a lawsuit saying he was arrested and beaten in his home, and suffocated by the same officers at the hospital.
