Companies failed to warn prenatal dangers of pain medication, lawsuits say

“Scientific and epidemiological research shows that prenatal exposure to APAP alters fetal development significantly increasing the risks of neurodevelopmental disorders,” wrote Khaldoun A. Baghdadi of Walkup Melodia Kelly & Schoenberger.

Six nearly identical lawsuits were filed against Walgreens Boot Alliance, CVS Health Corp. and Walmart Inc. alleging the companies annually sold billions of units of pain relief medication while failing to warn consumers of the threat that prenatal exposure to the products significantly increases the risk of neurodevelopmental disorders in fetuses.
