Judge must be disciplined for actions as prosecutor, CJP says

Orange County Judge Michael F. Murray is accused of ignoring exculpatory evidence in a murder case he prosecuted years ago.

Orange County Superior Court Judge Michael F. Murray should receive public discipline for ignoring exculpatory evidence in a murder case he prosecuted years ago as a deputy district attorney, lawyers from the Commission on Judicial Performance argued in a brief to the full commission late Tuesday.
