Judge asked to OK $90M deal in Google Play antitrust litigation
The settlement class includes all U.S. Android developers who earn $2 million or less annually through the Google Play store, effectively encompassing nearly all developers that earn money through the store.




A federal judge was asked to grant preliminary approval for a $90 million settlement to resolve antitrust litigation against Google LLC, which was accused of monopolizing relevant markets for Android app and in-app-product distribution services, including by tying them together, and using that market power to charge developers supracompetitive service fees.
