5 prosecutors in Contra Costa County settle bias suit against DA
The complaint filed more than two years ago accused D.A. Diana Becton of passing over more qualified women for promotions, perpetuating a culture of misogyny and retaliating against the plaintiffs. Becton was dropped as a defendant, leaving her office and the county facing the suit.




Five deputy district attorneys have settled their age and sex discrimination lawsuit against Contra Costa County, after alleging the DA's office had a, "long and pervasive culture of systemic gender discrimination."
