San Diego County cities ask review of housing discrimination

The cities of Coronado, Imperial Beach, Lemon Grove and Solana Beach filed the petition Aug. 1 against the San Diego Association of Governments and its board of directors after calls for declaratory and injunctive relief were struck down by lower courts.

Four cities in San Diego County have filed a petition with the state Supreme Court against a county association, alleging that a vote on the distribution of new housing units in the area, with special consideration for military housing, was conducted in a biased and improper manner.
