Hastings name change bill snagged by estimated price tag
The Hastings College of the Law estimates General Fund costs of approximately $3.4 million as a result of this measure.
A bill to rename UC Hastings College of Law has finally hit a snag — though it will likely be a minor one. The Senate Appropriations Committee moved AB 1936 to its suspense file on Monday amid questions about the cost of the name change.
