Prosecutor sued San Diego, now both sue their lawyers
The city attorney asked the judge to set aside the jury’s verdict, was denied, and filed a notice of appeal. The plaintiff’s new attorneys want the judge to award them a higher multiplier to determine their share of fees — the previous attorneys the plaintiff is suing will also share in the pot.




A jury’s award of $3.9 million to a former prosecutor who sued the city of San Diego for wrongful termination didn’t end the litigation. Far from it.
