A San Diego County judge reinstated some of the hours he had deducted before awarding $1.6 million in fees to the attorneys who represented a former city prosecutor who won her wrongful dismissal case.
Superior Court Judge Kevin Enright ruled the city now must pay $1.75 million. The decision came late Thursday, right after his dismissal of a 2.0 multiplier suggested by the plaintiff’s attorney that could have doubled to $3.2 million.
