Class privacy violation claims follow Twitter’s $150M FTC settlement

Twitter’s alleged misuse of consumer data has been at the forefront of regulators’ minds for over a decade.

A new federal class action alleging Twitter misrepresented its privacy policy comes on the heels of a $150 million deal the company struck with the Federal Trade Commission to settle the same complaints.
