$5M award for 92-year-old woman abused in nursing home

Arcelia Martinez was admitted to the facility in San Gabriel because her family couldn’t care for her after she developed Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and dementia.

A Los Angeles jury awarded $5 million to a 92-year-old woman after finding she was abused and neglected while living in a San Gabriel nursing home for more than seven years.
