Plaintiff may not use defense’s bragging video that led to retrial

“To me it felt like the entire law firm was dancing on my client’s grave. I thought it was very insensitive. That’s the kind of thing that makes lawyers in general look bad,” said Jorge Ledezma Flores, representing the family of a patient who died during a medical procedure.

Jorge Ledezma Flores, who is representing a patient’s family in the retrial of an Orange County medical malpractice lawsuit, said Thursday he will likely not be able to use a video posted online of the former defense attorney bragging about his victory and saying his doctor client was probably negligent.
