Exploding face wand suits say Amazon is liable for products it sells
“Thankfully the California Supreme Court has ruled that they act differently than a traditional mall landlord or someone who’s just providing the land at which a marketplace operates because of several factors,” said plaintiffs’ attorney Eduardo Martorell of Martorell Law APC.




Customers who claim they were injured when a skin care product purchased from Amazon exploded are moving toward trial after a June ruling by the state Supreme Court finding Amazon liable for hazardous products bought through their marketplace.
