AMD is accused by rival of infringing on circuitry patents

Realtek alleges that some of AMD’s bestselling products infringe its patents.

Semiconductor giant Advanced Micro Devices Inc. was accused in a lawsuit of infringing circuitry patents by competitor Realtek Semiconductor Corp.

The complaint was filed Friday as other players in the technology industry face similar allegations and the primary and secondary markets experience semiconductor shortages.
