Another class action says Coinbase failed to secure accounts

The complaint accuses Coinbase of misrepresenting itself as “the only crypto exchange to have never been hacked,” when in reality it had been compromised and its users’ money had been stolen multiple times within the last two years.

The nation’s largest cryptocurrency investment platform Coinbase Inc. is facing another class action over its alleged failure to secure user accounts from hackers and thieves.

These fresh claims come less than a year after Coinbase agreed to pay $300 million to settle a similar lawsuit from the state attorney general.
