Block, Cash App Investing face class action over data breach

The complaint alleges that the leak “resulted in the unauthorized public release of the personally identifiable information of 8.2 million current and former Cash App Investing customers.

Block, the financial technology business formerly known as Square, and Cash App Investing were hit with a data breach class action alleging customer information was compromised as a result of a December 2021 leak.
