Fox Sports settles with Real USFL football league owners
Fox confirmed that the USFL will have a second season next year, using the same trademarked names, but the details of the settlement were confidential.
Fox Sports Inc. and the former owners of Real USFL LLC agreed to settle for a confidential amount a dispute over use of the name and branding of the league.
Attorneys for the original incarnation of the football league Real USFL asked U.S. District Judge Fred W. Slaughter on Monday to dismiss with prejudice a lawsuit against Fox.
