Black Girls Code and founder trade accusations of wrongdoing
Kimberly Bryant says she was fired without a vote of the board. The organization says she has seized access to its website. The organization helps young girls learn skills to advance in the tech industry. Bryant was honored by President Obama in 2013.




A woman honored by the White House as a “champion of change” for her efforts to help more Black women learn to code was accused in a lawsuit of “hijacking” the website of the nonprofit she founded after she was fired as CEO on Aug. 12.
