Marketing of Hastings’ new name ready for Newsom’s signature

Elizabeth Moore, Hastings’ chief communications officer, told members of the school’s Advancement and Communications Committee she has been working on a “focused and conscious new branding effort” to publicize the school’s pending new name. This will include a new logo and merchandise.

The UC College of the Law, San Francisco is getting ready to meet the world.

On Thursday morning, UC Hastings College of the Law officials met to discuss how to roll out the school’s new name. Hours later, the bill to enshrine that name into state law was headed to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s desk.
