Resolution protocol is settling thousands of Woolsey Fire cases
“In the second quarter, SCE resolved approximately $400 million of claims. In total, the utility has resolved nearly 90% of its best estimate of expected losses and continues to make steady progress in resolving remaining claims.”




Thousands of cases have been settled over the past two weeks in the litigation against Southern California Edison over the Woolsey Fire, plaintiffs’ attorneys said Friday.
Edison says it has settled 90% of its expected losses from all claims, totaling $400 million in the second quarter of the year.
A resolution protocol was agreed upon that allowed many of the plaintiffs to settle before any trial is scheduled....
