9th Circuit orders school to reinstate Christian student club

“More than a whiff, a stench of animus against the students’ religious beliefs pervades the Pioneer High School campus,” wrote 9th U.S. Circuit Judge Kenneth K. Lee.

A divided 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel on Monday reversed a district judge’s ruling and ordered a San Jose high school to reinstate a Christian student club whose leaders are required to reject same-sex marriages.
