Girardi’s lenders aided his looting, bankruptcy trustee says
Special litigation counsel Larry W. Gabriel wrote in lawsuit that the funders had “actual knowledge” the clients weren’t getting paid and continued to lend money anyway.
The bankruptcy trustee of disgraced plaintiffs’ attorney Thomas V. Girardi’s firm has filed a lawsuit against two litigation funding companies claiming they aided and abetted him in the “looting” of $23 million in client trust accounts.
