Idaho counties join McKinsey opioid promotion MDL
Representing Gooding County and Camas County in Idaho, Salvatore C. Badala, partner at Napoli Shkolnik PLLC in New York, claimed that McKinsey & Company helped Purdue and other companies as they “conspired together to grow the overall market for opioids as part of their efforts to increase sales of their own individual products.”

Two counties in Idaho joined the federal multidistrict litigation in San Francisco against McKinsey & Company on Friday, alleging that the management consulting giant conspired with pharmaceutical companies to conduct widespread deceptive advertising campaigns to promote opioid overuse.
McKinsey has denied it advocated misuse of the painkilling drug. It reached a $600 million settlement earlier this year on similar accusations.
