Founder of Irell & Manella litigation practice was a proud member of Nixon’s enemies list

Dick Borow grew the firm's litigation practice to more than 150 lawyers, with a formidable reputation.

Richard H “Dick” Borow, partner emeritus and founder of the litigation practice group at Irell & Manella LLP, has passed away. He was 87.

He waged a two-decade battle with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, the firm said in a statement.
