Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Co. is attempting to gain a new trial in a copyright infringement case brought against it by Oracle America Inc.

Oracle accused HP and its subsidiary, Terix Computer Company Inc., of copying and distributing patches of its Solaris enterprise server software and achieved a jury verdict in its favor.
