EPA hasn't implemented smog plans in 5 states, lawsuit says
On Aug. 25, the Environmental Protection Agency released a report that showed what the agency labeled as a “significant decline” in diesel emissions, resulting in cleaner air in several states because of the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act.




The Center for Biological Diversity filed an amended lawsuit on Monday against the Environmental Protection Agency, asking a judge for injunctive relief to make the agency implement effective smog-reduction plans in five states.
