LA County to spend $236M to settle homelessness case

Skip Miller, who represents the county in the matter, said the county had agreed to “dedicate an unprecedented level of county resources to the fight against homelessness.” The $236 million will be doled out through June 30, 2027, said Miller, of Miller Barondess LLP.

Los Angeles County agreed to $236 million in new funding to end a March 2020 lawsuit brought by activists over the homeless population living on skid row.
