HBO fired employee who accused Covid tester of fraud, lawsuit says

Georgia Hesse worked on the series “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty.” She said the lab hired to test crew gave rapid tests that it claimed were PCR tests.

A former employee sued Home Box Office Inc. claiming she was wrongfully terminated for reporting that a vendor fraudulently billed HBO for coronavirus testing during production of a series about the Los Angeles Lakers.
