Gov. Gavin Newsom signed into law Thursday a first in the nation bill that aims to protect the safety, data and privacy of children.
Assembly Bill 2273 was written by Assemblymembers Buffy Wicks, D- Oakland and Jordan Cunningham, R-San Luis Obispo and is dubbed the California Age-Appropriate Design Code Act.
