Judge under probe says, ‘I’m gonna go postal,’ if removed, CJP alleges

Lassen County Judge Tony R. Mallery threatened and retaliated against court employees who were cooperating with a Commission on Judicial Performance investigation of him, at one point telling the court CEO, “Snitches get stitches,” according to the charges signed by the commission chairperson, Trinity County Superior Court Judge Michael B. Harper.

A Lassen County presiding judge who found himself under investigation twice told the court CEO, "I'm gonna go postal" if he were removed from the bench, the Commission on Judicial Performance charged in a 50-page Notice of Formal Proceedings that, if proven, could lead to just such a disciplinary action.
