Attorneys praise DOJ’s national crypto prosecutor network
“Although regulatory uncertainty continues to cloud the crypto sector, the federal criminal laws have always applied and I suspect many in the industry will welcome the department’s effort to prosecute those who use cryptocurrency to commit crimes,” William Ridgway of Skadden Arps said.
Attorneys praised an initiative by the U.S. Justice Department to form a national network of 150 federal prosecutors to litigate crimes involving cryptocurrency.
