Only Alec Baldwin 'knew he was going to fire' judge says

However, in his ruling Friday, Superior Court Judge Michael E. Whitaker wrote that a script supervisor, Mamie Mitchell, who said she was standing next to Hutchins and feared for her life when the shot was fired, can continue to bring her negligence claim against all the producers.

Actor and producer Alec Baldwin is the only person who knew he was going to fire the gun that killed cinematographer Hylana Hutchins on the set of the movie “Rust,” a Los Angeles County judge stated, a ruling that dismissed claims against the other producers for assault and battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
