Newsom signs bill, killing State Bar paraprofessional program
The bill was passed as an urgency measure so it goes into effect immediately. This guarantees that the bar cannot precipitously submit their paraprofessional proposal to the Supreme Court or the legislature before the restrictions go into effect.
