Parties told to settle suit over protests at LA mayoral candidate’s mall

Los Angeles Judge Theresa A. Beaudet indicated that she would grant a preliminary injunction against Caruso Management Co., stipulating that it cannot keep the candidate’s opponents from protesting near his campaign headquarters at the shopping center he owns. But after a hearing she said it would be better for the two sides to come to terms.

A Los Angeles judge directed the parties in a case involving protests at the Grove against its owner, mayoral candidate Rick Caruso, to settle, asking both sides to come to an agreement on terms this week.
