Case challenging gun magazines law remanded to District

The case will serve as a test of whether California gun laws can survive under the new Supreme Court standard, which focuses on the tradition and history of tradition of firearms regulation.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, over the objections of two dissenters, sent the case challenging the California voter-approved ban on large capacity gun magazines back to San Diego district court on Friday.
