DOJ rests case against FBI agent after accounting expert testifies
Defense attorney Steven F. Gruel has mainly tried to tarnish the credibility of the government’s chief witness, Edgar Sargsyan, because of his surprise confession to prosecutors the night before the trial was originally set to begin that he paid his law firm partner, Henrik M. Mosesi, to pass the bar exam for him in 2015.




Prosecutors called up various federal law enforcement personnel to testify in their case against a former FBI agent who they are accusing of accepting tens of thousands of dollars in monthly payments from a disgraced attorney who recently confessed to paying someone to take the bar exam for him.
