Law firm gets court costs from man they say is lying about disability

"I have no problem with website accessibility lawsuits. . . . I just think it has to be brought forth by a suitable plaintiff, " said Dan T. Danet of Karlin Law Firm.

A man claiming to be legally blind has filed hundreds of fraudulent disability suits against companies with websites he says he can't read, according to attorneys representing one of the companies.

His attorney, from a firm that specializes in filing suits under the Americans With Disabilities Act, said the plaintiff is disabled.
