Girardi Keese had no fiduciary duty to case referring lawyers

“I concluded that there could not be a breach of fiduciary duty between the plaintiff attorneys and Girardi Keese because there has been no determination of the amount of legal fees that are owed to the plaintiff lawyers,” Judge Richard L. Fruin explained.

The Girardi Keese law firm had no fiduciary duty to two attorneys who sued over fees they allege Thomas Girardi refused to pay them for a joint-representation of a personal injury case, A Los Angeles County judge ruled.
