PGA accuses LIV of ‘inducing contract breaches’
The counterclaim is a response to a lawsuit by players Talor Gooch, Hudson Swafford and Matt Jones, who had enough points on the PGA Tour to qualify for the FedExCup but were suspended because they had joined LIV tournaments.




The PGA Tour countersued upstart LIV Golf Inc., accusing the rival league of inducing top players to breach their contracts by falsely telling them they could play both tournaments as a way of exploiting the PGA’s popularity.
